Are files uploaded when I convert them to PDF?

No. Every converter in this group runs in your browser, so your files are read and the PDF is built on your own device. Nothing is sent to or stored on our servers, which makes them suitable for contracts, payslips and ID scans.

Can I combine different image types in one PDF?

Yes. Use Images to PDF, which accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF, BMP, SVG, AVIF and TIFF in the same batch. Set the order with the arrows and they all go into a single PDF, one image per page or several stacked on each A4 or Letter page.

Do the converted PDFs have a watermark?

No. The PDFs contain only your content, with no watermark or added branding on the pages. The tools do not cap how many files you convert, though each file can be up to 250 MB.

Will my Word document look exactly the same as a PDF?

Not exactly. Word to PDF keeps headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and images, but rebuilds them in a standard font and simplifies complex layouts such as text boxes and multiple columns. For a pixel-perfect copy of a heavily designed file, save it as PDF from Word itself.

Can I convert old .xls or .doc files to PDF?

Old Excel 97-2003 .xls spreadsheets, yes: XLS to PDF converts each sheet into a table without Excel installed. Legacy Word .doc files are not accepted, so open them in Word, LibreOffice or Google Docs, save them as .docx, then use Word to PDF.
