Add a DRM-free .epub and the tool reads its package file to follow the book's reading order. Each chapter starts on a new page, with headings, paragraphs, lists, quotes, tables and images laid out in DejaVu Sans, and cover images wrapped in SVG are handled too. The book's title becomes the PDF title. Choose A4, Letter, Legal, A3 or A5, portrait or sideways pages, three margin widths and page numbers. Books protected with DRM, such as many bought from ebook shops, are detected and refused; embedded fonts are the only encrypted content allowed. The publisher's styling, fonts, links and footnote pop-ups are not kept, and no clickable contents is added, so use Bookmark PDF afterwards if you need one.

How to use the EPUB to PDF

  1. Add one or more DRM-free .epub files from your device.
  2. Choose the page size, orientation, margins and page numbers.
  3. Click Convert to PDF and wait while the chapters are read and laid out.
  4. Download the PDF of each book.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert Kindle or DRM-protected books?

No. The tool checks for DRM and stops with a message if the book's content is encrypted. Only DRM-free EPUB files, such as those from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks or many independent publishers, can be converted.

Will the PDF have a table of contents?

No clickable contents is added. Chapters are laid out in reading order, each on a new page, and any contents page inside the book appears as ordinary text. Use Bookmark PDF afterwards to add a clickable outline.

Why does the layout differ from my ebook reader?

EPUB text reflows to fit the screen, while a PDF uses fixed pages. The converter also sets the text in its own font and drops the publisher's styling, so line breaks, page counts and the look of headings will change.

Are images included?

Yes. Pictures inside chapters are included, and WebP, GIF or SVG images are converted so they can be embedded. Very large books with many images take longer, as all the work happens in your browser.

Is my ebook uploaded?

No. The EPUB is unzipped and converted on your device and never sent to a server, so your library stays private. The only thing downloaded from our site is the font used to typeset the PDF.
