iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many Windows PCs, job portals and council forms will not accept. This tool decodes HEIC and HEIF files in your browser using the heic-to library, so you do not need to install a codec. Add several photos, such as pages of a letter or both sides of a document, set their order with the arrows and export one PDF. Choose A4, Letter or Fit to image, portrait, sideways or automatic orientation, a margin, and an image quality. High stores each photo as a 92% JPEG; Smallest gives a much lighter file for email. Each HEIC file adds one page, using its main image. Your photos stay on your device.

How to use the HEIC to PDF

  1. Select the HEIC or HEIF photos from your iPhone, computer or cloud folder.
  2. Put the photos in page order using the arrows.

Frequently asked questions

What is a HEIC file?

HEIC is the High Efficiency Image Container format that iPhones have used for photos by default since iOS 11. It gives smaller files than JPG at similar quality, but Windows, many websites and older apps cannot open it without extra software.

Can I convert HEIC to PDF on Windows?

Yes. The HEIC decoder runs inside your browser, so it works in Chrome, Edge or Firefox on Windows without installing the HEIF extension from the Microsoft Store or any other codec.

How do I make one PDF from several iPhone photos?

Add all the HEIC files at once, use the arrows to set the order, and click Convert to PDF. Each photo becomes one page of a single PDF. Untick One image per page if you want smaller photos stacked on each sheet.

How can I keep the PDF small enough to email?

Choose Medium or Smallest in the Image quality setting. These store each photo as an 80% or 60% JPEG. Phone photos are large, so they are scaled down to fit A4 or Letter pages, and Smallest usually gives a much lighter file.

Are my iPhone photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The photos are decoded and the PDF is built in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, which matters when the photos show ID documents, payslips or medical letters.
