Upload a supplier catalogue or trade price list as a PDF, Word file, spreadsheet, text file or photo, up to 25MB. The tool reads the product lines on every page and pulls out the SKU or product code, the description and the price. Where a line also shows a quantity and a total, it checks that quantity × price adds up. Results appear in an editable table, so you can fix codes or prices, delete headings picked up by mistake and add missing products. Download a CSV to import into your shop, ERP or stock system, or an Excel workbook. The export also contains quantity, tax % and total columns filled with default values, so delete them if you do not need them. Pack sizes and categories are not exported.

How to use the Product Catalogue PDF to CSV

  1. Upload the catalogue or price list as a PDF, spreadsheet, Word file or photo.
  2. The tool reads each product line on every page for its code, description and price.
  3. Check the rows in the editable table, fix any misreads and delete lines that are not products.
  4. Download the product list as CSV or Excel, or copy it to paste into another system.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a PDF catalogue to CSV?

Upload the PDF, check the product rows the tool extracts, then click CSV to download the file. Each row has the SKU, description and unit price, ready to open in Excel or import into your stock or ecommerce system.

What columns are in the CSV?

SKU, Description, Qty, Unit_Price, Tax_Percent and Line_Total. For a catalogue, SKU, description and unit price are the useful columns. The others are filled with defaults, such as a quantity of 1 and a tax rate of 20% for UK, and can be deleted.

Why are some products missing from the results?

In PDFs, each product line needs at least two numbers, such as a pack quantity and a price, to be recognised. Lines with only a single price can be skipped. Spreadsheet price lists do not have this limit, and you can add missing rows by hand.

Does it work with multi-page catalogues?

Yes. Every page of the PDF is read, and products from all pages appear in one table. Heading rows and totals lines are ignored where they match common labels such as Subtotal or Total. The file can be up to 25MB.

Is my catalogue stored after conversion?

No. The file is uploaded to our server, read in memory and not saved after the product list is returned. The CSV and Excel files are then created in your browser from the table you edited.
