Upload between two and ten supplier quotations as PDF, Excel, CSV, Word, text or photos. The tool reads each quote's line items, total, delivery charge, payment terms and lead time, then lines up the same product across quotes by SKU or a close description match. You get a matrix with one row per product and one column per supplier, showing each unit price, the cheapest supplier and the gap between the lowest and highest price as a percentage. A summary names the supplier with the lowest total, the difference between the cheapest and dearest totals, and the fastest stated lead time. It also warns when a supplier has not quoted for every product. Files are processed on our server and not stored. Export the comparison to Excel or CSV.

How to use the Supplier Quote Comparison

  1. Upload at least two and up to ten supplier quotes in one go.
  2. Each quote is read for its line items, total, delivery charge, payment terms and lead time.
  3. Matching products are lined up across suppliers so each row compares the same item.
  4. Check the cheapest supplier per item and overall, then export the matrix to Excel or CSV.

Frequently asked questions

How do I compare supplier quotes side by side?

Upload all the quotes at once and the tool builds a table with one row per product and one column per supplier. Each cell shows that supplier's unit price, and the row names the cheapest supplier and the percentage gap between the lowest and highest price.

How many quotes can I compare at once?

You can compare between two and ten quotes in one go, each up to 30MB. They can be in different formats, so a PDF quote from one supplier and an Excel quote from another can be compared in the same table.

How is the potential saving worked out?

The saving is the highest quote total minus the lowest. If three suppliers quote £4,850, £5,200 and £5,600, the tool names the £4,850 supplier as cheapest and shows a potential saving of £750. Quotes with no readable total are left out of this figure.

What happens if a supplier did not quote for every item?

That supplier has no price in the row for the missing product, and the summary shows a coverage warning such as 'Supplier B quoted 4 of 5 products'. This stops you choosing a quote on total price when it leaves items out.

Does it adjust for different quantities between quotes?

No. The per-item comparison uses unit price, so it is fair when quantities differ, but totals are compared as printed on each quote. A quote for fewer units can look cheaper overall, so check the quantity column before choosing on total.
