Images saved from websites often turn out to be WebP, which some photo apps, printers and upload forms still reject. This tool converts WebP files to standard JPGs in your browser. Add one image or a batch, choose a quality between 40% and 100%, and download each JPG with its original name, or all of them as a ZIP. The default of 90% keeps photos looking clean. JPG has no transparency, so any transparent areas in the WebP are filled with white. Animated WebPs are saved as a single still frame. Because the image is redrawn and re-encoded, a JPG can sometimes be larger than the WebP it came from. Your images are never uploaded.

How do I convert a WebP image to JPG?

What happens to transparent parts of a WebP?

They become white. JPG cannot store transparency, so the converter fills see-through areas with white before saving. Use WebP to PNG if you want a lossless file instead.

Can I convert animated WebP to JPG?

Only as a still image. A JPG holds one frame, so the converter saves a single frame of the animation, normally the first, and the motion is lost.

Why is my JPG bigger than the WebP?

WebP compresses more efficiently than JPG, so the same picture often needs more bytes as a JPG. Lower the quality slider to around 75% to bring the size down.

Is it safe to convert WebP to JPG here?
