Choose a new page size from A4, Letter, A3, A5, Legal and Tabloid, or enter a custom width and height between 10 and 5,000 mm. Orientation can stay as it is for each page, or be forced to portrait or wide. Scale to fit shrinks or enlarges each page to fit the new size and centres it, so nothing is cut off. Keep original scale leaves the content at its current size in the middle of the new page; pages larger than the target are trimmed at the edges, and the tool tells you how many. Content is placed as vectors, so text stays sharp and selectable. The new file is rebuilt from the page content, so links, form fields and bookmarks are not carried over. Processing is local.

How to use the Change PDF Page Size

  1. Drop your PDF into the box, entering its password if asked.
  2. Choose the new page size, or pick Custom and enter the width and height in millimetres.
  3. Set the orientation and choose Scale to fit or Keep original scale.
  4. Click Change page size and download the resized PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a US Letter PDF to A4?

Load the PDF, choose A4 and Scale to fit, then click Change page size. Each page is scaled slightly and centred on an A4 sheet, so nothing is cut off and the file prints correctly on UK paper.

Does resizing a PDF make the text blurry?

No. Pages are placed as vector content, so text and line art stay sharp at any size. Embedded photos are scaled with the page, so enlarging a lot can make them look softer.

Can I make every page the same size?

Yes. The target size is applied to every page, so a document with mixed Letter, A4 and odd-sized scans comes out uniform. Leave orientation on Keep if some pages should stay wide.

What does Keep original scale do?

It places each page at its current size in the centre of the new sheet, without scaling. Smaller pages gain white borders, and larger pages are trimmed at the edges. Use Scale to fit to avoid trimming.

Are links and form fields kept after resizing?

No. The tool rebuilds each page from its visible content, so links, form fields and bookmarks are dropped. Flatten a filled form first with Flatten PDF so its answers stay visible.
