Pull tables out of bank statements, invoices, price lists and reports into a Excel (.xlsx) file you can sort and total. The tool reads the selectable text on each page, finds the table columns from where the text lines up, and puts each value in its column, so an empty cell stays empty instead of pulling the rest of the row left. Values such as £1,234.50, (12.5) and 15% become real numbers with currency, percentage or thousands formatting, while account numbers with leading zeros, dates and phone numbers stay as text so they are not mangled. Choose one worksheet per page or all pages on a single sheet, and convert every page or a range. Column widths are set to fit the text. Scanned PDFs need PDF OCR first, and everything runs in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is PDF to Excel conversion?

It works well on tables laid out in aligned columns, including ones with empty cells and right-aligned amounts, as on most digital statements and price lists. Values are placed by column position, so blank cells stay blank. Text that wraps onto a second line inside one cell lands on its own row, and merged cells may need tidying.

Are numbers kept as numbers in Excel?

Yes, where they can be read safely. Amounts with £, $, €, ¥ or ₹, thousands separators, percentages and bracketed negatives become numeric cells with matching formatting. Dates, phone numbers and IDs with leading zeros stay as text.

Can I put all pages on one sheet?

Yes. Choose All pages in one sheet under Worksheets and every page's rows are placed on a single sheet called PDF data, with a blank row between pages. The default gives one sheet per page, named Page 1, Page 2 and so on.

Can I convert a scanned bank statement to Excel?

Not directly. A scanned statement has no selectable text, and the tool will say so. Run it through PDF OCR first; the results depend on the scan quality, so check totals afterwards.

Is my financial data uploaded?

No. The PDF is read and the .xlsx file is written in your browser, so statements and invoices stay on your device. Password-protected PDFs ask for the password, which is only used locally.
