Turn a PDF into a PowerPoint (.pptx) file where each page becomes one slide. Every page is rendered as a JPEG picture at 150 DPI, or 200 DPI for sharper slides, and centred on a slide sized to match the first page, so A4 handouts and 16:9 decks both keep their proportions. That makes it a quick way to present a PDF in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, or to add a few PDF pages to an existing deck. The slides are images, so you cannot edit the text, and the file can be large for long documents. Choose all pages or a range such as 1-10. Password-protected PDFs are supported after you type the password. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use the PDF to PowerPoint

  1. Open the PDF you want to present.
  2. Enter a page range, or leave it empty to include every page.
  3. Choose 150 DPI for a smaller file or 200 DPI for sharper slides.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit the text after converting PDF to PowerPoint?

No. Each slide holds a picture of the PDF page, so the text cannot be edited, though it looks exactly like the original. For editable text, convert the PDF to Word and copy the parts you need into your slides.

What size are the slides?

They match the first page of your PDF. An A4 document gives portrait slides and a widescreen PDF gives 16:9 slides. Later pages with a different shape are scaled to fit and centred, leaving blank edges.

Why is my PowerPoint file so large?

Every slide is a full-page JPEG image. Long documents at 200 DPI add up quickly. Choose 150 DPI, convert only the pages you need, or compress the PDF before converting.

Can I convert a scanned PDF?

Yes. Because pages are rendered as pictures, scanned PDFs convert just like digital ones. The slides will look like the scan, and the text is not searchable or editable in PowerPoint.

Is my presentation uploaded?

No. Pages are rendered with pdf.js and the slides are assembled with PptxGenJS inside your browser. The PDF never leaves your computer, which suits confidential board packs and client decks.
