Enter your name and the role, plus optional company, email, phone, location, LinkedIn or website, and a photo. The tool builds an A4 cover page in your chosen accent colour. Type a cover letter and it is set on its own pages under your contact details and the date. Add attachments as PDF, Word (.docx), JPG, PNG or WebP files, rename each section and put them in order. Word files are converted to PDF, with fonts and complex layouts simplified, and images are placed on A4 pages. A contents page lists each section with its starting page, and a footer adds your name, the role and page numbers. The PDF title and author are set from your details. Password-protected PDFs need their password removed first.

How to use the PDF Job Application

  1. Fill in your name, the position and any contact details, and add a photo if you want one.
  2. Type or paste your cover letter, leaving a blank line between paragraphs.
  3. Add your CV, certificates and other files, then rename and reorder the sections.
  4. Choose the contents page and page number options, then click Build application PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Which files can I include?

PDFs, Word .docx documents and JPG, PNG or WebP images such as scanned certificates. Legacy .doc files are not accepted, so save them as .docx or PDF first. Password-protected PDFs need their password removed before you add them.

Will my Word CV keep its design?

Not exactly. Word files are converted in the browser, which keeps headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and images but uses a standard font and simplifies columns and text boxes. For a designed CV, save it as PDF from Word first and add that.

Is my CV uploaded anywhere?

No. Conversion and merging run entirely in your browser, so your personal details, photo and documents stay on your device. The finished PDF downloads straight to your computer.

Are the contents page entries clickable?

No. The contents page lists each section with the page it starts on, but the entries are plain text rather than links, and no bookmarks are added. Use Bookmark PDF afterwards if you want a clickable outline.

What if the portal has a file size limit?

Run the finished pack through Compress PDF. Large photos and scanned certificates are usually the cause, so compressing those images normally brings the file under common limits of 2 to 5 MB while keeping typed text selectable.
